Divock Origi set for Anfield return as Wolfsburg bin plans for the summer deal
Wolfsburg has binned plans to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi permanently this summer.
The Belgian is currently on loan at the German club after joining them back in August.
Wolfsburg signed the 22-year-old last summer with a view to potentially snapping him up permanently at the end of his loan spell.
However, according to Kicker, the Bundesliga side have now scrapped those plans.
Origi has endured a difficult time in Germany and he has managed just five goals so far this season.
Wolfsburg is now ready to send him back to Liverpool in the summer, where he will look to fight for his place.
